Measuring objects above the floor

Measuring objects above the floor is available as part of the Beamo Plan(s) Pro, Enterprise.

Introduction

Measure the objects which are above the floor by referencing the floor.
Note: To switch the measuring units, go to the user profile settings.

Measuring the width of the top plate

  1. Click on point #1 on the floor in the image above. (By default, measurements are made in reference to the floor.)

  2. Press and hold the [shift key] then drag your mouse to corner #2 in the image above.
    *Vertical lines are indicated with blue-dotted lines.

  3. Click on point #2 and release the [shift key]. Then drag the mouse to corner #3.
    *Horizontal lines are indicated with white-dotted lines.

  4. Click on point #3.

  5. Click on the [Check button] to finish creating the measurement.

  6. To delete a 3D object that has been created, click the [Hand] button, select the object to be deleted, and then click the [Trash bin] at the bottom-center of the screen. To delete all 3D objects at once, click the [Broom] button.

Note: *In the image above, the [Magnifying zoom] button is activated.
