Editing Tags in the 3D Workspace

Editing Tags in the 3D Workspace is available as part of the Beamo Plan(s) Pro, Enterprise.

Introduction

Tags that are created can be edited with the Beamo App or Beamo Portal.  You can edit the details of the Tag or add additional info such as images, videos, files, or links to the Tag.

Pinning a Tag will add a callout showing its description.

Who can use this feature?

Note: 1, 2. Data added by the Super Admin and Site Manager within the 3D Workspace will be shared/visible to all teams unless a partiucular team is specified. 

3, 4, 5, 6. Permissions are limited within the scope of their team. 

Edit a Tag

  1. Click the kebab menu button to select the [Edit] in the kebab menu to edit the tag. 
  2. Change the title, Tag type, color, media, embed code, information, file, or URL.
  3. Set whether to display the media within the 3D Workspace using the toggle button.
  4. Edit the height of the Tag by dragging the [Tag] icon up and down. 
  5. Change the location of the Tag by dragging the white circle under the Tag icon. 
  6. If you want to delete the Tag, click [Trash Bin].
  7. Click [Save] to save changes.

For tags with embedded content, the following, additional options are available

  1. Adjust the <iframe>, <embed> or link of the content
  2. Change the width and height of the preview in the 3D Workspace 
    (Note: if the pasted html-element contains a width and height information, this will be displayed and used.)

Note:

  • The file types below can be uploaded as attachments:
    • Media: MOV, MP4, AVI, WMV, FLV, JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF

    • Document: PDF, DOC(X), PPT(X), XLS(X), TXT, RTF, ZIP

  • A working server configuration is required to display the content in the Beamo 3D Workspace. Please add the domain "beamo.ai" to CORS (Cross-origin resource sharing) in the Nginx or Apache server configuration when using Tags to embed content.

 

Caution: Files added to one Tag may not exceed a total of 100 MB, and each Tag may only have a maximum of 5 file attachments
